Cansurvive’s 9th Malaysian International Conference on Holistic Healing in Cancer 2019: Challenge Cancer- True Life Stories of Conquerors
Cansurvive Centre Malaysia Berhad (Cansurvive) had th eir 9th Malaysian International Conference on Holistic Healing in Cancer 2019 with the theme Challenge Cancer: True Life Stories of Conquerors. The International Conference was held on 24
th August at the PJ Campus of Brickfields Asia College. 407 participants attended the complimentary Conference.
The entire Conference was divided into 3 segments where the first two sessions were chaired by Dr Ramkumar Kutty of the Punarnava Healing Community, India. The last session was chaired by Cansurvive’s Founder, Dr C.D Siby.
There were a panel of inspiring Speakers made up of both international and local cancer survivors being Ms Eve Williamson from Australia, Ibu Anna Nawato from Indonesia, Claravil de Guzman from the Philippines, Dr Lim Yet Mee, Cheang See Koi and Rev Dr Ho Ban Lee from Malaysia who shared their personal Cancer Journey.
The Guest of Honor, Tan Seri Dato’ Seri Vincent Tan, Founder of Berjaya Corporation Berhad also mentioned during his Inagural Speech about his transformation on the journey to healthier living. He has been ‘psychologically and spiritually healthier’ ever since he became a full time vegetarian about four years ago. The Chief Guest, Mr Raja Singham, Managing Director of Brickfields Asia College, also gave a very supportive speech by urging all delegates to work together to improve the lives of those affected by cancer.
Ms Maria, a participant finds the Conference very empowering and impactful in the sense that she is able to hear straight from another cancer survivor of how they managed to defeat cancer. Mr Chan also emulates the thought by adding that it shows that cancer is not a death sentence. It can be treated with the right treatment and frame of mind. Hence, this statement uplifts the spirits of those who are still battling with cancer and their family members.

Cansurvive is a non-profit cancer charity organisation that aims to provide guidance and community support for cancer patients as well as their family and friends. It also strives to raise public awareness on the benefits of holistic, non-invasive cancer therapies, nutrition and diet, types of orthodox treatments, and access to such treatments.
