Cansurvive Centre Malaysia Berhad (CanSURVIVE) organised a talk cum workshop session on Iyengar Yoga which is a form of Hatha Yoga. Generally, Hatha Yoga is about balancing the element of body and mind. With the ‘ha’ representing the sun while the ‘tha’ the moon, the practice of Hatha Yoga is clearly to balance these two energies. This holistic event was held on Saturday, 23 rd June 2018 at Brickfields Asia College, PJ Campus.
Ms. Vani Jeyapalan, an experienced Iyengar Yoga Instructor not only shared with the 65 participants on the benefits of practicing Iyengar Yoga towards wellbeing and healing but also conducted an Iyengar Yoga session by allowing
the new learners to use props such as cushions, benches and straps so that they do not easily injure themselves with the agile movements.
