11th November 2017 – The Islamic Relief Malaysia (IRM) organised a talk on entrepreneurship skills for seven individuals from the urban poor community of PPR Lembah Subang on Saturday, 11 November 2017 at the Tresforest room of BAC’s PJ Campus. At the talk, attendees were given advice on how to become a successful entrepreneur, with a focus on essential skills all entrepreneurs needed to master such as leadership, communication, problem-solving, negotiation and wireframing.
IRM is an independent humanitarian and development organisation in the UK that was founded in 1984 by a group of postgraduate students. One of its aims is to empower local communities to emerge from poverty and vulnerability by reducing the humanitarian impact of conflicts and natural disasters.
