Women’s Aid Organisation (WAO) held a 2-day workshop over the 1st and 2nd of April 2017 to train their volunteers. These volunteers were nominated as WAO Ambassadors to deliver public education talks and curate articles. The workshop was held for 5 hours each day starting from 9:30am to 3:30pm at the Brickfields Asia College, PJ Campus. There were altogether 17 attendees made up of 11 WAO Ambassadors, 3 external trainers, and 3 WAO staff. These participants were coached and guided as to how to present to public audiences about domestic violence. They also learned to write articles on behalf of WAO.
