Brian Lariche, Head of Community Development at BAC’s Make it Right Movement (MIRM), spoke to students of SMK Takis in Papar, Sabah, at a community programme organised by TEDEd Clubs, in collaboration with MIRM. Themed “Keep the Conversations Going”, Brian’s session “Transect Walk” centred on how a school can be made disabled-friendly. The talk was held on Saturday, 30th of September 2017, and attended by 60 students from Forms One to Six, as well as 10 teachers. The students and teachers felt that the talk was informative and inspirational, with the teachers requesting for a similar session to be held during the school’s teacher development programme (Latihan Dalam Perkhidmatan (LADAP)). The banner and T-shirts for the event were designed and made by MIRM.
